London Waterloo Hostel reviews

“Stayed here 1 night, it was cheap for London, the rooms were a bit small, but the rest is ok. Also not enough toilets. The location is really good, close to the underground. Staff was nice as well. It is ok to spend a night.” Marta C. – Tripadvisor

Decent price for room, but average quality. Staff very friendly and quick to fix an issue with my bed light. Downside is the location is far from things and a bit shady to walk at night.” Mike Parks – Reviews – Google

Relative to other prices of downtown London accommodations, the Waterloo Hostel is less expensive, clean, and conveniently located (if a little hard to find for an out-of-towner. Employees courteous. Offered free breakfast consisting of juice and cereal.” Rob Francis – Reviews – Google

  1. I stayed at this hostel for one night. I was in room 8 bed C. My bed was infested with bed bugs and I didn’t get any sleep due the bed bugs and my bed was also next to a wall with some machine inside it that would make loud sounds every 5 mins and it also kept me up. I am a very clean person with a military background and have hiked many mountains and not once did I ever have a issue with bugs. I work at a Hostel in Bath and have worked at many other hostels around Europe and the US. This is the first time I have ever had a bed bug issue and will never stay at this hostel again. Worst experience ever in regards to a hostel. Two days later I am still suffering from the bed bug bites. The staff was not helpful at all and lack any type of compassion. I went to a pharmacy down the street to get Bite cream for the bed bugs. They asked me if was staying at the London Waterloo Hostel and I said yes. They told me this hostel is notorious for bed bugs and many guests have come to their pharmacy to get bite cream.
