I like the location of this hostel as you walk down to Hyde Park (20 min) and arrive from Marble Arch corner to Oxford Street. You can always use the busses just off the high street where the hostel located to central london. From the phoenix hostel london to city center takes only 10 min by bus. It is good for the value actually.

Hostel & staff were great, free tea & coffee in the morning. Bunk beds on the small side but correct for the price.

A little run down, and not much light in the room. That said, having paid £7 for a night in a dorm in the centre of London, it's very difficult to complain....

Friendly staff, thought it was very good value for the price I paid to stay!

Clean facilities, super fresh linen, really good atmosphere in the communal area with a reasonably priced bar.
Great location close to the underground station. And finally a really lovely friendly and helpful staff who went above and beyond and made the experience brilliant!!” – Georgina Logan – Reviews – Google

Decent. There are lockers in the shared rooms. Toilets and showers are clean. Staff are helpful and polite. But the overall atmosphere is a bit shabby and tired. If you’re looking for a cheap place to stay its fine and in a good location.” – Zac – Reviews – Google

Cool hostel. For young travellers on a budget, 18-38 I believe is the age requirement to stay. Would stay again because of the friendly staff. The dorms that cost a few pounds more are cleaner than the busy 14 bed dorm. £2 breakfast. Easy to get transit all around the city from here.” Nile Singh Gill – Reviews – Google
